Terms Of Service

Please read carefully before submitting your application. By applying to attend the retreat hosted by Danielle Bezalel (Sex Ed with DB) and Talia Koren (Dating Intentionally), you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Eligibility & Participation

  • You must be at least 18 years old to attend.

  • This retreat is designed for women and femmes of all sexualities.

  • Participation is contingent on full payment and completion of all required forms (application, waivers, etc.).

2. Code of Conduct

We’re building a community rooted in respect, inclusion, and safety. By attending, you agree to:

  • Treat all attendees, staff, and hosts with kindness, respect, and open-mindedness.

  • Absolutely no racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, fatphobic, ableist, classist, or otherwise hateful speech or behavior will be tolerated.

  • Any form of harassment, bullying, or discrimination—verbal, physical, or digital—will result in immediate removal from the retreat without refund.

  • Respect others’ boundaries, privacy, and consent at all times.

The hosts reserve the right to deny admission or remove any participant at any point before or during the retreat if their behavior violates this code or jeopardizes the comfort and safety of others.

3. Payment & Refund Policy

  • We understand plans can change, and we’ve designed our policy to be as fair and transparent as possible.

    • Payment Options: Guests may pay in full at the time of booking or choose a two-payment plan.

    • First Payment: Due at the time of booking.

    • Final Payment: Due on January 1, 2026.

    Refund Eligibility

    • Full Refund: Cancellations made on or before November 8, 2025, are eligible for a 100% refund of all payments made.

    • Partial Refund: Cancellations made between November 9, 2025, and December 31, 2025, are eligible for a 50% refund of the total amount paid to date (whether paid in full or partially).

    • No Refunds: Cancellations made on or after January 1, 2026, are non-refundable.

4. Health & Safety

  • All attendees must provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (including any required boosters) prior to the retreat. This is to help ensure the health and safety of everyone attending.

  • Participants are responsible for managing their own health and wellbeing during the retreat.

  • Please inform organizers of any relevant medical, accessibility, or dietary needs prior to arrival.

  • Participation in retreat activities is voluntary and at your own risk. The hosts are not responsible for injury, illness, or loss during travel or attendance.

5. Photography & Media

By attending, you consent to being photographed and/or filmed during the retreat. These images may be used by the organizers for marketing, educational, and promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify the hosts in writing before the retreat.

6. Confidentiality & Respect for Privacy

Our retreat is an intimate and vulnerable space. You agree to:

  • Maintain confidentiality about personal stories shared by others.

  • Refrain from recording or posting content from private workshops or discussions without consent.

7. Changes & Cancellations

The organizers reserve the right to:

  • Make necessary adjustments to the schedule, facilitators, or accommodations.

  • Cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances (in which case full refunds will be issued).

8. Liability Release

By signing up, you acknowledge that you participate in the retreat voluntarily and assume all risks associated with travel and participation. You agree to release and hold harmless the organizers, hosts, and venue from any claims related to injury, loss, or damages incurred during or in connection with the retreat.

Agreement

By submitting your payment, you confirm that:

  • You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

  • You understand that violating the Code of Conduct may result in removal without refund.

  • You agree to create a respectful, inclusive, and fun environment for all attendees.

  • You will provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination prior to the retreat.
